Beer Museum: BrauereiGewölbe
Discover and learn how brewing technology and the brewery in Berg in the “Berg times” have developed in the past centuries.
Enter the ice, fermentation and storage cellar at a depth of 13 m and submerge into the living history of brewing beer. Between historical wooden barrels, fermentation tanks and a natural refrigeration unit, the “ice swimmer”, experience the history of the craft of beer fermentation that has been written in the Berg Brauerei for more than 150 years now. Every year for the Ulrichsfest (Ulrich Festival), the brewery cellar comes to life. The brewers at the Berg Brauerei brew, fill up and label with historical and old machines.
Tip: The guided tour of the brewery cellar is included in the brewery tour of the Berg Brauerei.
